At HomeFurniture-Direct.com, we offer various shipping options. Each product ships with the service identified on the product page for FREE. If you would like to upgrade to another shipping or delivery service we can assist. Please call us at 1-800-370-9917, ext 1 for sales, to get a shipping/delivery quote, or email us at sales@HomeFurniture-Direct.com. You will only be asked to pay for the difference in upgrading the shipping/delivery from the free shipping/delivery option.
Our products ship and are delivered with various service levels based on weight and packaging. Each product will identify the service level.
All products are delivered about 5 days after being shipped out (see products for shipping times). This is true for all products whether they are shipped via common carrier or In-Home or White Glove delivery, unless otherwise noted. Most retailers cannot accurately make this claim! Many retailers use slower shipping services that send your order to multiple warehouses, on several trucks, that ultimately leads to a higher chance of damage. We save you the time and offer you peace of mind with our high-quality, speedy delivery services.
1. Customer's order will be shipped within the amount of time indicated on the associated product page's 'Shipping Window' located below the product's price.
2. If item is determined out of stock or unattainable, customer will be notified immediately and order will be put on hold. Customer will not be charged until item is verified in stock.
3. As per agreement, customer may cancel an order at anytime prior to shipment of furniture without penalty.
4. Customer is not charged for order until the whole order is verified in stock and the shipment date is set.
5. Delivery is free.
6. Delivery methods vary based on product(s) ordered.
Your purchase is completely Tax FREE, unless you live in or we deliver your order to Arizona.
What if My Shipment Arrives Damaged?
As you can see from our delivery standards, we take many precautions to avoid delivery of any damaged goods. In the rare case that something arrives damaged there are two ways to handle the situation: Simply refuse the defective/damaged piece. We will then issue a new unit or have the existing unit fixed as soon as is physically possible. If you are certain that the piece is able to be repaired and you want to keep the piece in your possession, simply sign for the unit(s) as received damaged (indicate what is damaged) and we will have an experienced furniture medic come out and fix the issue at your home. This is sometimes the quickest route. We are here for you either way!
When does my credit card get charged?
Your credit card will get charged 24-72 hours after you place your order. We have a "Pre-pay" policy to protect ourselves from fraudulent orders. If the shipment is scheduled to take longer than denoted, we will contact you shortly after you place your order. In such cases, we will not charge your card until you have agreed to the adjusted shipping window.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
You are able to cancel your order within 48 hours of order placement without a cancellation fee. If your item is on backorder, you can cancel until the backorder date. If your order is canceled after it has been shipped, we have a fair flat rate of 35% plus the return shipping costs (covering some of the restocking/shipping fees). Cancellations or returns must be authorized in advance. Please contact us and we will assess the situation for you.
What about assembly?
See the product specifications to determine if assembly is needed. With any of HomeFurniture-Direct.com's delivery services, an upgrade for white glove with installation is available. What Is Your Warranty/Guarantee Policy?
All products' warranties are noted on the the product page, under the Warranty tab. Warranties vary by product. For some product lines, extended warranties may be available for purchase. We request that you contact us directly with any warranty related issues. We guarantee that your order arrives in brand new condition or else we will fix/replace any problems.
